Mervyn Baker

Merv was born and raised in Gore in the heart of Southland and attended Gore High School. He studied for his Bachelor of Surveying degree at Otago University from 1989 - 1993. After graduating from university, Merv worked for the Department of Survey & Land Information as a Graduate Surveyor on the West Coast from their Hokitika office for a few months before joining Middleton Williams & Co. in April 1994.

He is an Associate Member of the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors and enjoys bush walks, cycling, reading, movies, travelling, skiing and web surfing.
